1. Effectiveness of the Terms
These Terms set forth the conditions for using Arirang Talk (the “Service”). To register, you must agree to these Terms and the Privacy policy on the sign-up screen, and these Terms apply from the time you provide your consent. You may not use the Service if you do not agree.
2. Account
You register with an ID and password, and your email address is used only for account recovery. Linking a phone number is optional.
Each person shall use one account and shall not disclose or lend account information to another person. The account holder is responsible for activities conducted through the account.

3. Service Content
The Service provides 1:1 and group conversations, photo transmission, automatic message translation, secondhand Market and Jobs boards, and connection to Directions free of charge.

5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
Content that violates laws or public order and morals, fraud or illegal transactions, hate, harassment or threats, pornography, spam or mass advertising messages, and the unauthorized collection or disclosure of another person’s personal information are prohibited.
The person who posts content and the parties to a transaction are responsible for the content of posts and the terms of transactions or employment on the secondhand Market and Jobs boards. The Service is not a party to any transaction and does not guarantee transactions.
Conduct that interferes with the normal operation of the Service or infringes on other users’ use of the Service, and abusing the Service through reverse engineering or automated tools, are prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided free of charge “as is,” and, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from translation errors, Service failures or interruptions, data loss, or disputes between users.
We are exempt from liability when the Service cannot be provided due to reasons beyond the operator’s control, such as natural disasters, communication failures, or failures of external translation engines.
8. Termination of the Agreement
You may terminate the agreement at any time through More → Delete account. Upon account deletion, account information is immediately deleted, and messages already sent are anonymized as “Deleted user” and remain visible to conversation partners. 9. Changes to the Terms

10. Governing Law and Inquiries
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
